Peace be upon you, we are Fouad and Chahinez and we are happy to introduce you to our dear daughter Bathul. Our daughter is held hostage by a disease, give us your hand to help us treat her.

Peace be upon you, we are Fouad and Chahinez, and we are pleased to introduce our beloved daughter Bathul. Our daughter is held hostage by a disease; please lend us a helping hand to help care for her.

Our sole objective right now is to save our daughter. We are ready for any sacrifice, but we are also prepared to face the worst.

It is with these words that these young parents contacted us, determined to do everything in their power to save their little princess, who is only 2 years old and already sadly suffering from homozygous beta-thalassemia, the most severe form of this condition.

They live in Sétif, where Bathul is monitored to receive blood transfusions very regularly in order to survive her illness.

She also has to undergo batteries of tests, assessments, and CT scans very frequently to check the state of her organs, which are unfortunately affected by the disease.

Her liver and spleen are suffering the consequences of her congenital condition.

Repeated blood transfusions lead to complications affecting the heart, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system.

Bathul is exhausted. At 2 years old, her life comes down to lying in bed receiving packed red blood cells, which are vital for her survival, while waiting and above all hoping to receive, as soon as possible, a bone marrow transplant, which is the only curative option for her disease.

Her parents confide in us that they can no longer bear to hear her cries and tears of pain.

They want to believe in the future, and especially in us and in you, to help them raise the funds needed to finance this transplant.

Chahinez remembers that day well. The day had started so well, and Bathul had some semblance of a normal life like all other children her age, until her need for blood took over their lives once again!

Laughter then gave way to tears and screams, to the immense sorrow of this brave mother.

"The disease dictates our lives; we are at the mercy of this illness that is slowly wearing down our child's organs. Help us put an end to this burden! Yet, we thank God!" Fouad acknowledges.

We extend our heartfelt thanks in advance to all those who have contributed in one way or another to any cause, and to all those who will act for Bathul to enable her to receive without delay the care she needs, as Bathul's liver is deteriorating.

This amount will cover care, services, extras, and everything related to her medical management. In the event of death, the funds will be allocated to another beneficiary of the association, as will any unused funds for the patient.
