Toufik is still very young, yet he has already endured hardships that no child should ever have to face.
As an infant, he was diagnosed with end-stage liver failure.
He survived only thanks to an in extremis liver transplant, a true miracle.
Since then, he has lived on lifelong treatment, taking anti-rejection medications essential for his survival.
But today, Toufik’s health is faltering once again.
For several weeks, he has been suffering from severe pain.
Doctors have detected an abnormal cervical mass. Urgent action is needed: comprehensive medical examinations are required to determine the exact nature of this swelling.
Initial suspicions point toward tuberculous lymphadenitis or an adenophlegmon—rare and serious complications affecting the lymph nodes of the neck.
Doctors must also urgently rule out any form of cancer.
🩺 Specialized investigations are needed. And quickly.
Without an accurate diagnosis, it is impossible to begin the appropriate treatment.
Yet these tests come at a high cost, which his family cannot afford alone.
Toufik has already been saved once.
