His brother is compatible and could be his donor. HLA typing has already been performed.
However, this family does not have the means to cover the cost of such an intervention.
In the meantime, Rahim is suffering psychologically and physically from all the treatments required to stabilize his condition.
Rahim had to have his spleen removed, but his other organs are suffering from iron overload and his condition is deteriorating….
