Our little princess Rahaf underwent her transplant today!
Here she is, right before entering the operating room, with a smile on her face, fearless, joyful as always.
We had already shared her story with you: Rahaf comes from a very modest family living in Algeria. The association funded her plane tickets as well as part of her food on site. Thanks to the generosity of the Médical Parc hospital, which agreed to provide a free liver transplant, this little girl was finally able to receive the life-saving procedure.
We had been following her for a long time, from a distance, by phone and through a screen. We saw her suffering, her courage, and her incredible patience.
Today, the procedure went smoothly, and we hope to share excellent news regarding her recovery very soon.
